The (Carthamus tinctorius l.) safflower, also called faux-saffron, is a plant low, with an average height of 60 cm, originating in Egypt, whose name derives from a word Arabic qurtum. It produces a fruit, an achene oilseeds, whose seeds are used to produce food oils or massage, which are sometimes integrated with cosmetic products for hair [1]. This pronounced perfume oil is used primarily in cold. Not refined, it has a slight nutty flavor and its color closer to dark amber yellow, while refined, it has no flavor and its color is rather pale yellow.
