Description:
true indigo blue (NB1) is originally derived from the gold.
The dye was then synthesized by A. Bayer in 1870 (PB66) and marketed after 1897 by BASF. Unfortunately, it is not permanent, it has fallen into disuse.
Today, the blue indigo hue is made from a mixture of blue pigments (Ultramarine, phtalo) and black.
