Measuring device of mean square value of the strength of current on air power lines.
PVS-03B is designed for fast and efficient detection of unauthorized connections and evidence of theft of electricity, the detection of short circuits on the overhead lines.
PVS-03B is designed for remote (from the ground) measurement of mean-square value of the current strength on the overhead power lines, including the air inlets in the buildings. To transfer data from the sensor to the display unit, radio link is used, which makes the device easy to exploit, lightweight (mass as one unit 1.5 kg.), easy to use and requires no special training from Energonadzor (state company responsible for supervision of power engineering in order to ensure the safety and health of people, sustainable functioning of power equipment and power systems, compliance with the rules of use of electricity and thermal energy).
If compared with the devices of similar functions, PVS-03B has a number of advantages:
Ø there is no data cable, which is constantly entangled in the branches or breaks in the cold (in devices with data transmission over the wire);
Ø does not depend on sunlight, snow, dust, and does not require special positioning (in devices with data transfer via infrared channel).
Ø a long time of continuous operation - not less than 30 hours.
PVS-03B device is equipped with a recharger and a set of batteries, passed metrological certification, state testing in the control center of "Ukrchastotnadzor" (Ukrainian state centre of radio frequencies) and was certified for safe use, that allows to use it effectively, safely and legally at Energonadzor’s departments of power supply companies.
PVS-03B has a patent and all rights for its production are owned by the business partner "Cherkassy Electrotechnical Company".
