Produced from typical varieties of Dão, cultivated in an ecological way, respecting in all its original terroir. The grapes come from several vineyards with an average age of about 30/40 years, with granite soils, privileged orientation to the south and average elevations of 300 / 400m. After a rigorous selection of the grapes still in the vineyard, they were transported to the winery in small perforated boxes. The natural vinification (by vine and not by caste) was made in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, followed by a long maceration. A part of the wine made stage in French oak barrels for 8 months. About 50,000 bottles were produced.
