Boufaggous, Fegousse and Bofkousse: fragrant and slightly caramelized, the variety is of a semi-soft consistency. It remains the best variety of the region of Ouarzazate and Zagora.
Aguellid: Also say Malik toumour (King of dates). The origin of this word comes from the local Amazigh dialect of the southern regions, which simply means King. The characteristic of this variety is unique. It matures early and has a golden color.
Bouzekri: it is characterized by its semi-dry consistency and a pleasantly sweet taste.
Al Majhoul remains by far the most noble and popular variety.
Bousthammi: According to some farmers in the region of Zagoura, this name is the son of the farmer who found and exploited this variety.
Jihl: It is often used by rural women for the regulation of high blood pressure.
