CLAYMINTON 81 is one unique super dispersible organoclay which is modified by fine Bentonite and special chemicals. It is designed for medium to low polarity solvent based system. It is particularly suitable for coatings, inks, adhesives. CLAYMINTON 81 performs excellent dispersibility properties and it can be post added to finished paint. It can be used in various applications. It offers excellent dispersibility, anti-settling, sag resistance and storage stability.

CLAYMINTON 81 is actually super dispersible Organoclay. But, high shear rate will be helpful for better dispersibility achievement in finished paints. It can be used in mill-base or post added to the paint to adjust the finished paint viscosity. We recommend you can take below production procedure for better performance.

General Use Level
The typical dosage will be around 0.3%-1.0% on total formulation. We strongly propose that the ladder study will be taken in different system for better achievement in between performance and cost.
