The trough feeder is used to carry food whose maximum size is less of 160mm from storage silo equipment in industries such as smelting, mining, chemical, building materials, concentration and coal etc.

The trough feeder can be installed on the ground or raised on the port of discharge from the silo to ore. The bottom plates of chute are the alternative movement. The stroke can be adjusted by the eccentric wheel; the length of the eccentric jet is half larger than that of the race. According to the experience of some mining sites, the length of the eccentric jet must be more than 30mm for cohesion ore. The chute width is 2-2, 5 times greater than that of the maximum feeding granularity. The charger the largest chute can provide ore with a granularitemoins of 500mm.
