Due to customer's strict requirements for cabin size, they are in need of very compact air conditioner, and smaller BTU requirements. With the height of only 5.7 inches and width of 8.2 inches, it is so compact that it could be installed in any place. It's also recommended in the cockpit to be used as a spot cooler for the captain (even if it is in the open). It consumes about 500Btu and can be easily connected to a DC Inverter module to be powered up by a battery, Car Power and Solar Power.
The Small Cooling System uses R134A, an environmentally friendly refrigerant. These reverse-cycle air conditioners easily fit beneath a v-berth or in a storage area. They come with a split electric box and an entire control system. Thanks to the compressor sound cover, they are so quiet that it makes it hard to distinguish if the unit is in operation or not.
