oil from oilseeds. By-products of
crushing, oil manufacturing industry, they represent
usually 50-75% of seed mass.
The cakes are used in animal feed. They constitute
the 2nd most important class of food after
cereals. Main source of protein in animal feed, they
also contain cellulose, which is only digestible by
ruminants.”
