COMPOSITION
Each sachet 3.125g contains Isometamidium chloride hydrochloride 0.125g and Antipyrine 3g
INDICATIONS
Isometamidium, an aminophenanlhridium compound. It is used for prevention and treatment of trypanosomiasis caused by T. vivax, 1 congotense to T. brucei and T. evansi in cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, camels, horses, donkeys and dogs.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Deep intramuscular route after reconstitution of the solution.
The recommended dosage is 0.25-1 mg isometamidium chloride hydrochloride per kg of body weight according to the species, the curative or preventive apporach and the local epidemiological situation.
Dissolve the content of the sachet in 6.25ml (2% solution) or 12.5ml (1% solution) of sterile water.
Cattle, sheep, goats treatment 0.25-0.5mg/kg IM, Prevention, 0.5-1mg/kg IM.
Camels, dromedaries 0.5-0.75 mg/kg as a 0.25-1% solution slowly IV.
Horses 0.5mg/kg by deep IM injection.
Dogs 1mg/kg IM.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substance.

STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light.
The ready solution can be stored 24 hours, protected from light and in a closed sterile glass bottle.
