Argan oil contains 43% oleic acid (Omega-9), 36% linoleic acid (Omega-6) and the rest being their respective mono-glycerique form.
Used for centuries by Berber women for its cosmetic properties, this honey-coloured oil is rich in essential fatty acids omega-6 and tocopherol (vitamin E), antioxidants that prevent the skin from drying out. It is as well used in light massage on the face in local application on areas of the body particularly dessechees.l' dermal application of argan oil revitalizes the skin, raise vital functions of certain epidermal cells, restores the skin's barrier and neutralizes the free radicals responsible for aging. These are largely generated by UV radiation solar, ozone and exposure to tobacco smoke. In dermatological application argan oil has therefore a nourishing effect and stimulates the irrigation. It helps to prevent the appearance of wrinkles, cellulite, stretch marks and Crow's feet. Argan oil is deemed to be non-allergenic.
